Despite the room size hiccup, Hotel Viking in Hafnarfjordur was a captivating experience. Adorning a cozy authentic Viking design, the comfy bed and stunning harbor view made up for it. The artistic interior and delicious breakfast left a memorable impression. The staff were a delight and the location ideal. A charming stay indeed.

Just stayed at a hotel with amazing views of the harbor. LOVED the helpful staff, especially the manager. Sauna was relaxing. Would definitely visit again. Views even better in person!

It was surely a really really nice stay in Viking Village Hotel. We liked location and food, felt like home. The restaurant here was very nice with top class cuisine-for those preferring a quiet eating place, we both ordered excellent dishes.

The viking theme throughout the property was unique and added to the overall experience. The location by the water was lovely, offering a peaceful setting for our short stay. The beds were comfortable and had everything we needed, making for a pleasant and restful night after a long day of meetings.

The check-in was early, we appreciated downstairs bar.

We had a really comfortable stay at this unique hotel. Brand-new & warm unit with a fridge, thin blinds, for example. Moreover, we could park our car nearby.

Breakfast was excellent with friendly English-speaking staff. The area felt safe, quiet, and clean. Free Wi-Fi was a nice touch. However, thin walls caused sleep disruptions and the bathrooms were small and needed refurbishment. Overall, a mixed experience.

It made our trip to Hafnarfjordur a very comfortable experience. The hotel was fairly clean and fabulous, had good wi-fi. We had a unique room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The location was perfect, a 10-15 minute walking distance from a contemporary gallery. Breakfast was gorgeous and varied ; included bread, yoghourt and cheese.

We really dug the spacious rooms, the comfy beds, and the helpful staff making sure our family was sorted with adjacent rooms; it made us feel right at home. The sauna and hot tub were spot on for chilling out after a day of exploring, a great way to unwind. The only bummer was the bit of noise coming from the hot tub area in the evening, not a deal-breaker though, just a slight hiccup. 🏨

Omg the viking theme in the rooms is super cool! i felt like a warrior! the 🛏️ was comfy, staff were helpful, but 🍳 could use some warmth.

While dining at the Fjaran restaurant, I was treated to a delightful meal with a picturesque view of the harbor. The regional cuisine was so delicious that it felt like a symphony of flavors dancing on my taste buds, leaving me wanting an encore!

The hotel's location in a central area is its biggest advantage. The attic area with stuffed birds was unique but drinks couldn't be had there while food was served, the bus stop across from the shopping mall was very close, and the hotel was conveniently located near the airport. Breakfast was decent with plenty of options to choose from.

The dining experience was a letdown with high prices for mediocre food.

Despite a few minor hiccups, I had a decent stay at this hotel during Christmas. the check-in process was smooth, and to my surprise, my room was upgraded to a bigger one. the location of the hotel was convenient as it was close to public transportation, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. there were several restaurants and a supermarket nearby, providing plenty of dining options.

the noise insulation in the room was disappointing, as I could hear my neighbor's snoring and people talking outside my room.

The location in the centre of the village is perfect, with beautiful views of the harbour and rocks right outside the window. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any concerns. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with a double bed and a single bunk on top, ideal for families. The breakfast, although lacking warm items, includes a few Icelandic specials such as salmon, which is a nice touch.

All was absolutely fine during our stay at this hotel.

Staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offers a large selection of hot and cold food. Close proximity to international chain food outlets, a shopping complex, and tourist attractions such as Reykjanes and Blue Lagoon. Comfortable amenities including clean rooms and good wifi. Enjoyable views of the Atlantic Ocean and a nearby promenade for outdoor activities.

Excellent location, close to Reykjavik without being right in the city. Fun decor with a quirky Viking theme throughout. Friendly staff. Hot tub and sauna on site. Adequate-sized rooms with great views. Restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores within walking distance.
